Vermont is known for its Green Mountains, excellent skiing and riding, and world-class beer. At Sugarbush, we combine them all with the Allyn’s Lodge sponsored Beer Dinners. Ride our Cabin Cat or skin/hike to Allyn’s Lodge, perched atop Gadd Peak, and enjoy a multi-course dinner specially paired with some of Vermont’s finest craft beers. Our friends at Lawsons Finest Liquids will be serving up a fantastic five-course meal. After dinner guests can choose to ski or ride down under the moonlight on freshly groomed terrain or take the Cabin Cat back to the base area. For those looking to earn their beer and dinner, the hike, skin or snowshoe to the Allyn’s Lodge is a strenuous hour and fifteen minutes.
Allyn’s Lodge provides an intimate atmosphere lit by candles and a crackling fire. Guests are welcomed to Allyn’s Lodge with a champagne toast, followed by an elegant five-course meal. The dinner at Allyn’s Lodge typically lasts from 5:30 – 9:00 PM. Following the fireside dinner, guests bundle up to either ski or snowboard down a freshly-groomed trail, or descend to the base in the comfort of the heated cabin cat. Skiing down in the quiet of the night heightens the senses, providing an experience many guests return for again and again. (This experience is for advanced skiers and snowboarders only.)
