Season Pass FAQs
A: A Sugarbush Season Pass gives you access to Lincoln Peak and/or Mt. Ellen depending on the type of Sugarbush Pass you purchase. An Ikon Pass gives you access to both Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen at Sugarbush as well as 70+ locations worldwide, including nearby Stratton and Mont Tremblant.
Q: What is the difference between Mt Ellen and Lincoln Peak?
A: Sugarbush is composed of two distinct mountains: Lincoln Peak and Mt Ellen. From parking lot to parking lot, the two mountains are 4.2 miles from each other. The mountains are connected via Slide Brook Express chairlift, along with a daily shuttle bus, during the winter.
Q: I am finally 65! Should I get a Boomer Pass?
A: Boomer Passes are restricted to mid-week and non-holiday. If you want to ski on the weekends or holidays, consider getting a Sugarbush Local Season Pass instead.
Q: If I buy a Sugarbush Pass this spring and decide in the fall I’d like either an Ikon Pass or Ikon Base Pass, can I change passes?
A: Yes, you can choose to switch to an Ikon Pass or Ikon Base Pass. You will need to pay any difference in price when you purchase the new pass.
Q: Do you have a senior discount?
A: Seniors 65+ are eligible for a more affordable season pass, the Boomer Pass. Seniors 80+ are also eligible for savings when purchasing the 80+ Pass. Senior discounts are not available on the All-Mountain Season Pass.
Q: Do you have a Military discount?
A: All Active, Retired, Veteran Military and their dependents qualify for a discount on lift tickets at Sugarbush Resort. Ikon Pass offers a Military Sales Program for Season Passes.
Q: Do I need to validate my College Pass?
A: The first step in ordering your pass will be to verify your enrollment. Please use your associated email address for verification. Once we verify your eligibility, you will be sent a single use code by email that will allow you to be able to buy your pass online. More information coming soon.
Getting Your Pass
IKON PASS HOLDERS
Ikon Pass and Ikon Base Pass media will be delivered via mail during the fall. After purchasing your Ikon Pass or Ikon Base Pass before please go to your account on https://www.ikonpass.com to upload a new personal photo and sign your liability waiver. If you do both of these ahead of time, you will receive your pass or passes in the mail allowing you to go direct to the lift on your first day.

Sugarbush Local Pass holder will be receiving pass media via mail during the fall. Sugarbush passes include a guest photo, so before you arrive at the mountain, you will need to go to your account on https://www.ikonpass.com to upload a new personal photo and sign your liability waiver. - Sugarbush Season Pass prices do not include 6% Vermont State Sales Tax
- A Release of Liability must be signed upon purchase of season pass. Children under the age of 18, must have Release of Liability signed by parent/legal guardian.
- Sugarbush Season passes are non-refundable, non-transferable and not for resale
- Fraudulent use of season passes will result in the required purchase of lift access at the daily rate, as well as a 2-week suspension on the season pass. Any further misuse will result in revocation of season pass.

- A SugarXpress card must be purchased for $5 and may be reloaded for future purchases

- Sugarbush and Ikon have a zero-tolerance policy regarding pass fraud. Fraudulent use of Sugarbush or Ikon season passes will result in loss of the pass for the duration of the season.
- If your SugarXpress card is lost or forgotten, a replacement may be purchased for $5.
