Mt Ellen Snowboard Team

Sugarbush Resort is proud to introduce the Mt. Ellen Snowboard Team, a premier development program tailored for young snowboarders eager to advance their skills and immerse themselves in the world of freestyle snowboarding. Mirroring the success of our acclaimed Diamond Dogs Freeski Development Team, this new program promises to offer unparalleled training, expert coaching, and a vibrant community of snowboard enthusiasts. Participants will be encouraged to train for and attend Rail Jams, Slopestyle and Big Mountain competitions locally.

• Top-Tier Coaching: Our team of highly experienced snowboard coaches is dedicated to nurturing each athlete’s potential. With a focus on personalized instruction, they ensure that every participant receives the guidance they need to excel in their freestyle journey.
• Comprehensive Skill Development: Athletes will train across various freestyle disciplines including jumps, rails, transition features, and terrain park features. Our program is designed to help snowboarders master advanced tricks, refine their style, and gain the confidence to tackle complex maneuvers.
• Innovative Video Analysis: Leveraging the latest in video analysis technology, our coaches provide detailed feedback on each athlete’s performance. This tool is essential for identifying strengths, pinpointing areas for improvement, and tracking progress throughout the season.
• Supportive Community: Becoming part of the Mt. Ellen Snowboard Team means joining a close-knit community of passionate snowboarders. Athletes will forge strong bonds, encourage one another, and celebrate each other's achievements, creating a supportive and motivating atmosphere.
  
  

Who Can Join?

The Mt. Ellen Snowboard Team is open to intermediate and advanced snowboarders aged 8-18 who are committed to enhancing their freestyle abilities. Whether you're aspiring to compete at higher levels or simply aiming to elevate your snowboarding skills, this program is designed to help you achieve your goals.

Important Information

• Ski & Ride Seasonal Program youth participants are required to wear a properly fitted and fastened winter sports helmet
• Ski & Ride School participants (ages 6+) may ride lifts by themselves or with members of the general public
• Ski & Ride School participants may use terrain features and jumps

25/26 Seasonal Programs Cancellation Policy

• Programs must be paid in full at time of booking.
• Cancellations made by 12/1/25 will receive a refund minus a $250 cancellation fee per participant.
• Cancellations made after 12/1 are non-refundable.
  
  

Discounts for 25/26 Seasonal Program Participants

• 20% off Adventure Camp and Mini Camp bookings made by May 23, 2025. To book, log in to your online account and select the discounted summer camps option available once you’ve purchased a 2025/26 program.
• If you have already booked camp for this summer, please email summercamps@sugarbush.com to have the discount applied.
• 40% off all Schoolhouse Programs restricted during President’s holiday ski week. To book, log in to your online account and select the discounted Schoolhouse lessons option available after 9/2/25 and only once you’ve purchased a 25/26 program.
