Welcome to The SugarBush Day School!
The Sugarbush Day School, located in the Sugarbush Village, is a state-licensed day care for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years of age. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff of childcare providers will ensure that your child is entertained and comfortable while you take a little time for yourself.
The Sugarbush Day School is a licensed center and follows all guidelines and memos put out by the State of Vermont’s Child Development Division.

Sugarbush Day School Summer Program:
Ages:4 to 6
Hours:7:30 AM to 4:15 PM
Dates:Monday through Friday – 7/6/26 through 8/14/26
Rate:Per Day: $95
The Sugarbush Day School is excited to offer a 6-week summer program for children ages 4–6, running July 6 through August 14. Hours for Summer Program will be 7:30am-4:15 Monday-Friday with group structured activities starting at 9am. This fun-filled program is designed to keep young children active, curious, and engaged throughout the summer.
Weekly activities will include art projects, nature hikes, creek cruising, SHARC activities, outdoor exploration, and more, all led by caring and experienced staff. Children will have opportunities to play, create, and learn while building friendships and enjoying the outdoors.

The Sugarbush Day School is open Monday through Friday with limited availability. For weekday reservations, please call us at 802-583-6717, and our team will be happy to assist you!
Our Winter Program operates from December 13th - March 29th. During weekdays, students will be integrated into our Day School programs in either our Nursery, Toddler, or PreK Program. On weekends, we split groups up based on age and expected children for programing. Our experienced staff work with small groups of children to keep our ratios low and allow children fun guided play that is age appropriate.
Please bring bottles and baby food for your infant or nursery aged child. We are a breast milk friendly facility and can provide a room/area where mothers can pump or feed comfortably.
The Sugarbush Day School will provide your child snacks, lunch, and drinks while they are in our care. If you would like to pack a snack and lunch for your child, you are welcome to do so, we just ask that it does not contain any nuts. rich-text, responsive-table
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made prior to 72 hours of the start date will receive a refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee per order.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable
- Changes made within 72 hours and at least by 4pm the day prior to date will be charged a $50 rebooking fee
- Day of changes are not permitted
- If the resort is open for skiing/riding there are no refunds or cancellations due to weather, please plan accordingly.
Know Before You Go
Please make sure your child has these things packed:
- Water bottle
- Diapers
- Set of extra clothes
- Inside shoes
- Warm clothes
- Outdoor clothing (boots, hats, gloves and snowsuit.) We love to go out on winter walks and sledding.
- Pacifier/special comfort blanket or stuffed animal
- Bag with all items in it
As a state-licensed facility, we are required to maintain updated information on file annually for all guests, regardless of the duration of their stay. Please complete the online registration form after making a reservation and note that immunization records are mandatory for all children.
Contracted Care at Sugarbush Day School
Sugarbush Day School offers contracted care for children from 6 weeks of age through universal Pre-K eligibility. Our program is structured into three distinct classrooms to support developmental stages:
- Nursery: Ages 6 weeks to approximately 15 months
- Toddler: Ages 15 months to 2.5 years
- Pre-K: Ages 2.5 to 3 years
The contracted care portion of our program is state licensed and accepts child care subsidy.
Please note: Children who turn 3 years old prior to September 1st of the current year will age out of the program that year, as they become eligible for enrollment in universal Pre-K Aug/Sept start date.
