Join us at Sugarbush and become a part of the Blazer community, where young skiers ages 5 and 6 kick off their mountain journey with confidence, curiosity and a whole lot of fun. For decades, the Blazer programs have helped families grow up on these slopes, and Mini Blazers is the perfect way to start. Whether they’re new to the mountain or graduating from Micro Blazers, our youngest adventurers begin to explore more terrain, build their skills and experience the thrill of skiing as part of a close-knit crew. Mini Blazers aren’t just learning to ski, they’re building coordination, independence, friendships and mountain know-how in groups with dedicated coaches. With a focus on safety, fun, and learning, kids grow rapidly over the season. Many progress to blue, black, and even off-piste terrain by spring.
This program is the start of something special. Trust us, being present during the first two weekends is key to creating balanced groups based on skill, pacing and social dynamics. For kids who can turn, stop and ride the chairlift with confidence, Mini Blazers is the next big step in becoming a true all-mountain skier.

Blazers Sunday Add-On Program
Introducing the Blazers Sunday Add-on program. This add-on is designed to keep the fun going after the Blazers program wraps up at noon on Sundays. Your kiddos will get an extra hour and a half out on the hill with a group of like-minded skiers/riders and an instructor. Groups will be formed based on age and ability level. With a different instructor from the morning session, you'll get a fresh perspective and new techniques to learn. Refine skills and explore different parts of the mountain to apply them in varied conditions. The goal of the add on program is to help you enhance your skiing abilities, experience new terrain, and make new friends, while giving families the opportunity for the full Sugarbush experience on weekends during our programs. As always, please make sure to have all necessary equipment and appropriate clothing for extended time on the slopes.

SEASON PASSES
What is the Sunday Add-On?
The Sunday Add-On is only available for our Blazer programs. It extends your child's time in the program on Sundays, adding 12-2PM to their day. It is a great way to maximize the weekend.Where do we meet on program days?
Detailed check-in instructions will be emailed before the season begins. How are the groups determined?
The first two weeks of the season are crucial. Coaches evaluate each child’s ability, comfort and personality to build balanced groups that support learning and fun. Groups may shift slightly to ensure the best fit for everyone on a given weekend. What if we miss a day?
We’re unable to offer make-up sessions or refunds for missed days due to weather, illness or other conflicts. Every weekend is unique, and our coaches do their best to keep the group progressing even when someone is out. Consistent absences may result in a Blazer falling behind the ability level of their group. What happens in bad weather?
Seasonal programs run in most conditions... snow, sleet or shine! Make sure to pack and dress appropriately. We monitor forecasts closely, and in the rare case of extreme weather or dangerous travel, we’ll notify families. My child is just learning. Is there a program for them?
Yes! Micro Blazers and Mini Blazers may be a great fit depending on age and comfort on snow. If your child is brand new to skiing or riding, we also recommend our Schoolhouse Programs. Check out our Schoolhouse Lesson Packs for savings on multiple group lessons, on sale for a limited time at the beginning of the season. -
