Summary

A Sales Associate performs merchandising functions in an effort to achieve or exceed established company sales goals. Merchandising functions include selling products, providing excellent customer service, merchandise presentation & display, re-stocking materials and inventory control.

Responsibilities

To provide a high level of customer service to guests by utilizing appropriate sales skills. Must be able to determine customer needs and recommend appropriate products in order to enhance their Sugarbush experience. Must maintain a professional attitude at all times. Must be able to problem solve any issues that may arise, especially with regard to sales transactions. Must remain current with all products, selling area and product location. Must stay current on pricing, markdowns, special promotions, clearance items and any back-ordered product. Must help maintain adequate stock supply and monitor physical appearance of all store displays. Must learn and implement all Leisure Retail Partners Sugarbush systems and procedures. And must always maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with Leisure Retail Partners Sugarbush Employee Handbook.

Requirements

Ability to meet all federal, state and local employment requirements. Ability to lift moderately sized boxes and goods weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods of time assisting customers and/or maintaining store displays. Must be a minimum of 16-years old to apply.
