Dust off your dirndls and lace up those lederhosen! Oktoberfest returns to Sugarbush on Saturday, October 10th! Crisp mountain air, fiery foliage, Bavarian eats, steins of local brews and live oompah tunes set the stage for one of fall’s biggest celebrations.

Bring your crew and settle in for a full day of music, games, mountain adventures and plenty of gemütlichkeit. Doors open at 11AM, with The Inseldudler German Band bringing traditional German tunes and festive oompah energy to the Rock Stage from 12–3PM.

The fun doesn’t stop when the music does. Test your strength with the Masskrugstemmen (Stein-Holding Contest), see how far you can send a keg in the Keg Toss, and take on a lineup of games and activities for all ages. Get your face painted, capture a caricature, try your hand at axe throwing, and keep an eye out for the one-and-only Beer Puppeteer bringing some extra character to the festivities.

And when you need a break from the action, take in the spectacular fall views with lift rides running from 11AM–4PM (weather permitting).

Grab your favorite festival crew, come hungry and thirsty, and raise a stein to fall at Sugarbush Oktoberfest!

Put your skills to the test in a series of classic Oktoberfest-inspired competitions. Gather your friends, show off your strength, speed, and stein-handling skills, and compete for the top spot on the leaderboard.

How It Works

Compete in as many of the five Bavarian Games as you'd like throughout the day. Each event awards points based on your finish, and your scores will be added to the Bavarian Games leaderboard.

You don't have to compete in every event, but you'll need to participate in at least three events to be eligible for the overall championship.

At the end of the day, we'll crown our Oktoberfest Bavarian Games King and Queen!
