Grateful Gravel rolls back into town on Saturday, August 2 (rescheduled from July 26). Tackle Vermont’s scenic backroads by bike, then keep on truckin’ to Mt. Ellen for an afternoon and evening of live Dead tunes, good vibes and community celebration. Presented by the Mad River Riders.
No bike? No problem. Concert-only tickets are available, just bring your dancing shoes.

Camping permits are available if you want to keep it close to the action. Not a camper? If a real bed and a hot shower are more your speed, we've got a couple options for you.

Three routes, each with a little dirt, a little grit, and a whole lot of Vermont soul. All rides include aid stations, concert entry, a meal, and one adult beverage.

A scenic spin with just enough climb to earn your boogie.
New Speedway
32 miles | 4,000 ft or 44 miles | 6,700 ft
A choose-your-own-adventure—either a stout loop or a serious leg-stretcher.
Fire on the Mountain
64 miles | 8,400 ft of climbing
This one’s a burner. Big climbs, big views, big vibes. Face-stealer status.
