Get First Tracks on Vermont’s Freshest Snow
At Sugarbush Resort, the early bird doesn’t just catch the worm—they catch first tracks. Our Private Cat Ski & Ride Tour lets you experience exclusive early-morning skiing and riding on untouched powder or perfectly groomed corduroy before the lifts even start spinning.

Climb aboard our enclosed PistenBully Husky Cat and head for the terrain off the North Lynx Triple Chair, guided by our expert Sugarbush mountain team. Each Cat Ski Tour offers breathtaking views, small-group camaraderie, and a one-of-a-kind way to explore the mountain.

Tour Overview

  • Meeting Location: Base of the Gate House Quad, Lincoln Peak
  • Meeting Time: 6:30 AM
  • Departure: 6:45 AM sharp (don’t miss the Cat!)
  • Return: Around 8:30 AM
  • Cost: $149 per guest
  • Age Requirement: 12 and older
  • Ability Level: Advanced skiers and riders only – no beginner terrain available
  • Group Size: Minimum of 6 participants required
  • Average Runs: Approximately five guided laps, tailored to the group’s pace
  • Booking: Reservations required by 12:00 PM two days in advance
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made by 12:00 PM the day prior will receive a full refund. Later cancellations are subject to a processing fee.
  • Tours are weather-dependent and require sufficient snow coverage for safe operation. If the minimum participant count isn’t met 48 hours before departure, the tour will be canceled, and guests will receive a full refund.
