There’s truth in the old proverb “the early bird catches the worm.” At Sugarbush, you can book a private Cat ski and ride tour on our enclosed Husky Cat to experience pristine, deep powder or untouched corduroy as you cruise down the mountain before anyone else. These guided tours leave from the base of the Gate House Quad, and get you access to the terrain off the North Lynx Triple before the lifts start spinning. The tours are weather dependent and do require adequate snow cover. These tours are for ages 12 and up and require advanced skiing/riding abilities, as there is no beginner terrain available at this location. Guided by some of Sugarbush’s finest, the number of runs you get per tour depends on the speed of the group. Most tours average at least five runs. Guests are encouraged to bring their own water bottles or hydration packs and snacks, which they can store in the cabin cat.

Cost is $125 per guest. Guests will meet their driver and guide at 6:30 AM at the base of the Gate House Quad, the cat leaves promptly at 6:45 AM. Don’t be late or you’ll miss the cat and there are no refunds. The event concludes around 8:30 AM when you return to the base area. You must book by 12:00 PM two days in advance. Cancellations made by 12:00 PM the day prior will be eligible for full refund. Cancellations made after this time will be subject to a processing fee. Minimum of 6 guests is required to run this tour. If this minimum is not reached 48 hours in advance of selected date, tour will be cancelled and a full refund issued.
