Summer at Sugarbush

Sugarbush has come a long way from its days of just skiing and riding. Now there are activities for the whole family to enjoy in the summer. Weddings, golf, downhill biking, summer camps, local food and some of Vermont’s best craft beer.  For your special occasion, Sugarbush is home to the best of what Vermont has to offer, and has all of the activities and amenities to make an unforgettable day, weekend, or week.

The Sugarbush Resort Golf Club is a par-71 Robert Trent Jones Sr. golf course designed with respect for the natural setting and boasts breathtaking views of Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley. Lift-accessed mountain biking is available from the top of the Super Bravo Express Quad where you can access over twenty miles of mountain biking terrain. For those that would rather enjoy the vistas on foot, try one of the many diverse hikes scattered across Sugarbush and the Valley.

On top of that Sugarbush offers several mountain activities including an 18-hole disc golf course, a 9-hole summit disc golf course, an 800’ zipline, bungee trampoline, bounce house obstacle course, and scenic lift rides. Summer camps are available for children ages 3-18 with themes including adventure, climbing, farm-to-plate, water, and outdoor survival.

If you’re looking to spend your wedding or special day in Vermont’s most picturesque landscape Sugarbush is the perfect four-season destination for your celebration. Whether you want an intimate small wedding or a large celebration with 400 of your closest friends, Sugarbush has the scenery, facilities and expertise to realize the wedding of your dreams.

Dining options include Rumble's Kitchen, offering fresh, American cuisine in a fun atmosphere. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, steak and more can be enjoyed under the post and beam interior of an 18th century style dairy barn. Hogan's Pub at the Sugarbush Resort Golf Club offers breathtaking views, local brews, and tasty sandwiches, burgers, and salads.

Summer is also one of the best times to enjoy everything the Mad River Valley has to offer. On-site and off you’ll find a variety of restaurants and pubs and the Valley offers year round fun from exploring landmark covered bridges and picturesque villages to horse rides, gliding cycling, and marathons. For those looking to cool off, Blueberry Lake and the Mad River both offer great swimming and water recreation opportunities. There’s plenty to explore in the Mad River Valley. Get out and explore!
