Vermont is known for its Green Mountains, excellent skiing and riding, and world-class beer. At Sugarbush, we combine them all with the Allyn’s Lodge sponsored Beer Dinners. Ride our Cabin Cat or skin/hike to Allyn’s Lodge, perched atop Gadd Peak, and enjoy a multi-course dinner specially paired with some of Vermont’s finest craft beers. Our friends at Zero Gravity will be serving up a fantastic five-course meal. After dinner guests can choose to ski or ride down under the moonlight on freshly groomed terrain or take the Cabin Cat back to the base area. For those looking to earn their beer and dinner, the hike, skin or snowshoe to the Allyn’s Lodge is a strenuous hour and fifteen minutes.
Allyn’s Lodge provides an intimate atmosphere lit by candles and a crackling fire. Guests are welcomed to Allyn’s Lodge with a champagne toast, followed by an elegant five-course meal. The dinner at Allyn’s Lodge typically lasts from 5:30 – 9:00 PM. Following the fireside dinner, guests bundle up to either ski or snowboard down a freshly-groomed trail, or descend to the base in the comfort of the heated cabin cat. Skiing down in the quiet of the night heightens the senses, providing an experience many guests return for again and again. (This experience is for advanced skiers and snowboarders only.)

Welcome Beer: We start with 'Sugarbush Light', a low ABV beer, to greet guests at Allyn's Lodge
First Pairing: 'Green State Lager' served with hors d’oeuvres Vermont Cheddar Fondue with apples and baguette
Second Pairing: 'Conehead IPA' as a feature with Baja style Ceviche “cocktail”
Third Pairing: The 'Apres Vous', an old-world beer known for its complexity and delicacy paired with Salad dish with blue cheese French mustard dressing
Fourth Pairing: 'Powder Jones' This winter seasonal IPA, more intense than Conehead, also supports the Flyin' Ryan Foundation that is paired with Grilled Vermont Raised Beef Ribeye in a sweet and hot Asian style marinade, sautéed greens and roasted butternut squash
Dessert Pairing: 'Nitro Stout', it has a dry taste and softer mouthfeel that is served with our flourless chocolate torte
