Should a pass holder of an eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass product not use their pass after June 4, 2020, for any reason, they may elect by April 11, 2021 to receive a full credit for the purchase price of their unused 20/21 pass product to be used toward the purchase of a 21/22 Sugarbush pass product, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Alternatively, pass holders of eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass products who elect to use their pass will be eligible to receive a credit toward the purchase of a 21/22 Sugarbush pass product, in the event minimum thresholds are met for closures due to COVID-19 between December 10, 2020 and April 11, 2021, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

AnchorELIGIBLE UNUSED 20/21 SUGARBUSH PASS PRODUCTS MAY BE DEFERRED FOR PASS HOLDER CREDIT TOWARD A WINTER 21/22 SUGARBUSH PASS PRODUCT PURCHASE

Pass holders of eligible unused 20/21 Sugarbush pass products can elect to defer use of their 20/21 Sugarbush pass for credit to be applied toward their purchase of the same or, to the extent the same pass product is not offered for sale in the 21/22 winter season, an equivalent Sugarbush pass product offered for sale by the resort in the 21/22 winter season.

Deferral of an eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass product is only available for pass products that are unused at the time of the deferral request. A Sugarbush pass product is “unused” if the pass or any additional resort access, perks, vouchers, or other pass benefits associated with the pass, have not been scanned or used to access Sugarbush after June 4, 2020.

Pass deferral requests must be made by eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass holders on or before April 11, 2021. If you do not defer your eligible unused 20/21 Sugarbush pass product on or prior to April 11, 2021, then you are not eligible for an unused pass credit.

A deferral request may be made by either the pass purchaser or the adult pass holder of any eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass product. In each case, the associated credit will only be issued to the actual pass holder (who may not be the pass purchaser) of the deferred 20/21 pass product.

All deferrals of eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass products are final. Once a pass product is deferred, it is unusable for the 20/21 season.

A pass holder who has deferred their eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass product may use their credit to repurchase a 20/21 pass product as long as the 20/21 Sugarbush pass products are still offered for sale, however the pass holder will be responsible for paying any price difference that may be incurred based on current prices at the time of purchase.

Credit amounts will be based on the eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass holder’s actual purchase price for the 20/21 pass product, less pass insurance, if applicable.

Credit for each deferred 20/21 Sugarbush pass product will be applied to the account profile of the actual pass holder whose name is associated with the applicable deferred 20/21 Sugarbush pass product, and will be available for use towards that pass holder’s purchase of the same or equivalent 21/22 Sugarbush pass product. Credit is non-transferable.

Credit amount cannot be redeemed for cash value and no refunds or additional credits will be issued if the 21/22 Sugarbush pass product purchased is less than the amount of the 20/21 pass product credit.

If there is a price difference between the credit amount issued for the 20/21 Sugarbush pass product and the Sugarbush pass product purchased for the 21/22 winter season for whatever reason, including price increases, pass holder age, eligibility for certain discounts, or pass product substitution the purchaser will be required to pay the price difference.  No partial refunds or credits will be issued if the cost of the 21/22 Sugarbush pass product is less than the credit amount, and any remaining credit amount will be automatically forfeited upon the pass holder’s redemption of the 20/21 Sugarbush credit for their one 21/22 Sugarbush pass product.

Adventure Assurance is only available on eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass product purchases that are paid in full at the time of the deferral request. Pass holders enrolled in the 20/21 payment plan may only defer their purchase in exchange for a credit toward the purchase of a 21/22 Sugarbush pass product, if all payments are paid in full either prior to or at the time of the deferral request.

There is no fee associated with Adventure Assurance.  Other than as expressly stated here, all terms and conditions applicable to the eligible Sugarbush pass product purchases remain in full force and effect and Sugarbush pass products paid in full continue to be non-refundable.

Adventure Assurance may not apply to Sugarbush pass products purchased from an authorized third party seller or from a tour operator as part of a bundled package or trip, and pass holders should discuss with their authorized third party seller or tour operator how Adventure Assurance applies to the Sugarbush pass product that is part of their purchase.

AnchorIN THE EVENT SUGARBUSH MEETS MINIMUM CLOSURE THRESHOLD BETWEEN DECEMBER 10, 2020 AND APRIL 11, 2021 DUE TO COVID-19, ELIGIBLE 20/21 SUGARBUSH PASS HOLDERS WILL BE ISSUED A PROPORTIONAL CREDIT AMOUNT TOWARD THE PURCHASE OF A 21/22 SUGARBUSH PASS PRODUCT

If Sugarbush meets minimum closure thresholds due to COVID-19 between December 10, 2020 and April 11, 2021, Sugarbush will automatically issue a credit to eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass holders, even if they’ve used their pass, subject to the following terms and conditions:

All eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass holders are automatically enrolled to be eligible for a credit unless the pass holder elects to defer his/her unused 20/21 Sugarbush pass until the 21/22 winter season.

If Sugarbush closes due to COVID-19 for at least 7 consecutive full days or 21 or more total full days between December 10, 2020 and April 11, 2021, eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass holders will receive a proportional credit of the actual purchase price paid for their eligible used 20/21 Sugarbush pass to be used toward the purchase of the same or, to the extent the same pass product is not offered for sale in the 21/22 winter season, an equivalent Sugarbush pass product offered for sale for the 21/22 winter season.  Once this initial threshold is met, the actual credit a pass holder will receive for their eligible used 20/21 Sugarbush pass product will be based on the percentage of days Sugarbush is closed due to COVID-19 during that 123 day period (between December 10, 2020 and April 11, 2021).

A qualifying closure of Sugarbush due to COVID-19 requires the destination to have no uphill access by chairlift or by any other mechanical means for the entire duration of the destination's normal daily operating hours, which is considered a full day.  If Sugarbush has 1 chairlift operational for all or part of a day, the destination is considered open. If Sugarbush is closed due to any other reason, including but not limited to high winds, lack of snow, or avalanche, the destination closure does not qualify for COVID-19 closure credit. The decision to close Sugarbush due to COVID-19 is at the sole discretion of the destination’s management team.

Credit amounts will be based on the 20/21 pass holder’s actual purchase price paid for the eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass product, less pass insurance, if applicable.

Credit for any eligible 20/21 Sugarbush product will be applied to the account profile of the actual pass holder whose name is associated with the applicable 20/21 Sugarbush pass product, and will be available for use towards that pass holder’s purchase of the same or, to the extent the same pass product is not offered for sale in the 21/22 winter season, an equivalent Sugarbush pass product offered for sale for the 21/22 winter season. Credit is non-transferable.

Credit cannot be redeemed for cash value and no refunds or additional credits will be issued if the purchase price of the 21/22 pass products purchased is less than the amount of the 20/21 credit.

If there is a price difference between the credit amount issued for the eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass product and the Sugarbush pass product purchased for the 21/22 winter season for whatever reason, including price increases, pass holder age, eligibility for certain discounts, or pass product substitution the purchaser will be required to pay the price difference.  No partial refunds or credits will be issued if the cost of the 21/22 Sugarbush pass product is less than the credit amount, and any remaining credit amount will be automatically forfeited upon the pass holder’s redemption of the 20/21 closure credit for their one 21/22 Sugarbush pass product.

The credit amount may only be used for the purchase of the 21/22 Sugarbush pass product the same or, to the extent the same pass product is not offered for sale in the 21/22 winter season, an equivalent Sugarbush pass product offered for sale for the 21/22 winter season, and any unused credits will expire at such time as 21/22 winter season Sugarbush pass products are no longer available for sale.

Adventure Assurance is only available on eligible 20/21 Sugarbush pass product purchases that are paid in full at the time of the credit issuance.

There is no fee associated with Adventure Assurance.  Other than as expressly stated here, all terms and conditions applicable to the eligible Sugarbush pass product purchases remain in full force and effect and Sugarbush pass products paid in full continue to be non-refundable.

Sugarbush frequency products are not eligible for any credit due to COVID-19 closures.
