Once an operational farm, the property has been transformed into a charming country inn and beautiful event facility. We are proud to offer comfortable rooms with private baths, featherbeds and hearty homemade breakfasts. Guests also enjoy our cozy fireplace, onsite sledding hill as well as easy access to the scenic Mad River Path.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your reservation, we ask that you give us a minimum of fourteen days notice. If you provide at least fourteen days notice, your deposit will be refunded, less a $25 administrative fee. The fee may be avoided if you choose to rebook at a later date. If you are forced to cancel within fourteen days of your reservation, your deposit will not be returned. We understand the way the world works, and know that plans must occasionally be changed. When life happens, we will do our best to treat you with kindness, compassion and understanding. We ask that you treat us similarly.

Deposit Policy

We require a deposit of 50% of the total room charges before tax.

Check In

Check In is normally between 3 pm and 7 pm, but late arrivals are common and welcome. Please call to make special arrangements

Check Out

Check out is 11 am. If you would like to arrange a late check out, please call for special arrangements

Pets Policy

We do accept pets in two of our eight rooms. There is a $25 charge per reservation. Please call us to inquire about our pet friendly rooms.


We love children, and happily accept kids 10 years of age and older in both the Washington and Bennington rooms. We ask only that they bring their responsible and thoughtful parents along. Families should understand that we take the comfort of our guests very seriously, and they may occasionally be asked to accommodate the needs of another guest.
