For the 72nd (almost) consecutive year, we celebrate our independence with a wild, wacky, and wickedly fun parade, street dance, and family festivities at the Warren 4th of July Parade and Festivities!

The Parade starts at 10AM, kicking off with a cannon boom, on Main Street in Warren Village.

Parade Details

The Theme : Heroes Among Us, celebrating our local essential workers.

Parking: No shuttle buses will be running from satellite parking lots this year.  Please park at the Warren Elementary School at 293 School Road in Warren, and follow the 0.6 mile path from the school to get to Warren Village. Follow direction from parking attendants.

To access School Road, enter Warren Village from VT Route 100 at the north entrance (North Main Street). Traffic will be one way (inbound) to School Road. Outbound traffic will be allowed following the conclusion of the parade.

Handicap Parking:  Parking placard required. In all cases, vehicle must be in the village before 8:30am.  Parking at the Municipal/Church parking in the center of town (behind the fire station). Limited parking available at the “grist stone” commuter parking at the north end of Main St.  Lots of parking at the Warren School, though 6/10 mile trek to the village.  4-wheeled transport utility vehicles available by chance. If you ask a security person, they can relay to the drivers to come to your location. Note that these vehicles and personnel are doing parade prep, so you may have to wait.

Floats : No need to register. Arrive at the south end of Warren Village’s Main Street by 9am.  (TIP: enter by SOUTH Main Street – south of Covered Bridge Rd – and get in line). You will be facing in the correct direction. Parade starter will put you in place as you move forward once parade begins.

The Parade Boss  strongly discourages bringing dogs to the parade. Please leave them home (not in the car) for the day. They won’t have nearly as much fun as you at the parade.  If you MUST bring a dog, please supply adequate water and keep them leashed at all times. Please keep horses at home, too!

Buddy Badges  and post-parade activities at Brooks Field are paused for 2021.

COVID NOTE : While masks and distancing are not required, they are recommended. Please respect the space of others and use Covid-safe protocols. We want our guests to feel safe as we learn to live in our “new normal”. If one is concerned, please consider listening to the broadcast on WDEV or watch on MRVTV. We want everyone to have a great time! Please direct questions to info@warren4thofjuly.com
