Timbers Restaurant Launches New Menus/Programs for Summer Season
Warren, VT (June 25, 2014) – Sugarbush Resort’s Timbers Restaurant has launched their new menu for the summer season, and has introduced several new programs for guests.
The new menu, designed by head chef Todd Dibkey and new restaurant manager Bruce Hyde, focuses on showcasing local farms. New dishes include Wood Mountain Fish seared ahi, fried Misty Knoll chicken Caesar salad, Vermont family farm pork cut, and kohlrabi and artichoke salad. The menu now includes numerous gluten-free options as well as vegetarian dishes.
One of the goals of the new menu is split dishes into a small, medium, and large plate format. Customers can choose from multiple options in each category based on their appetites. A new promotion this season, the restaurant is offering 50% off small and medium plates at the bar from 5:00 – 6:00 PM through Labor Day.
The restaurant is also putting the finishing touches on an improved outdoor patio area for the summer that will operate as the entrance to the restaurant, as well as a lounge. The patio will be filled with comfortable seating and ambient lighting so customers can enjoy their meals with mountain views.
Hyde has also expanded on the restaurant’s wine list, especially the wine by glass section, providing a well-rounded menu featuring wines from around the world. “There are so many producers making great wine these days,” says Hyde. “It’s a great time to be a fan of wine. I try to bring my passion for small independent producers on to the wine list. I’m especially excited about our wines by the glass, I’m really proud of what we’ve put together”. This new list will be in addition to the current 30 Wines for $30 menu, which includes a number of bottles of wine available at just $30.
