Sugarbush Resort to host over 20 craft breweries for the 3rd Annual Sugarbush Brew-Grass Festival

Warren, VT (June 14, 2013) – Beer and music fans from around the region are gearing up for the third annual Sugarbush Brew-Grass Festival on Saturday, June 15th. The festival is a celebration of New-England-based craft breweries, Mad River-Valley-based specialty foods, and local bands..

Running from 3 pm to 8 pm, the Sugarbush Brew-Grass Festival will feature beers and ciders from throughout New England, including:14th Star Brewing Co., Alchemist, Allagash, Citizen Cider, Covered Bridge Craft Brewery, Crop Brewery, Drop-In Brewing Company, Fiddlehead, Foley Brothers, Grateful Hands, Harpoon, Kingdom Brewing, Long Trail, Magic Hat, Narragansett, Northshire, Otter Creek, Shed, Shipyard, Switchback, Trapp Family Lodge Brewery, Trout River, Wolaver's, Woodchuck Cider, and Woodstock Inn Brewery.

Three local bands inspired by the bluegrass tradition will provide entertainment: Phineas Gage kicks off the festival at 3 PM, Gumbo Diablo takes over the stage at 5 PM, and the Mad Mountain Scramblers, reuniting for the evening, will headline the festival at 6:30 PM.

Local food vendors include Yak It To Me, Open Hearth Pizza, Bridge Street Butchery, and Michael’s Good To Go.

Sugarbush Brew-Grass Festival tickets are available for purchase through midnight on Friday at Admission is $25 for tickets pre-purchased and include beer samples, live music and a souvenir glass. Tickets purchased day-of are $35. Non-drinker tickets are also available for $5 pre-purchased and $10 day-of. Tickets are limited, and all attendees must show a valid identification.
