Sugarbush Resort to Hold Passholder Appreciation Weekend at Mt. Ellen and Welcome Home Sochi Olympian Nolan Kasper
Warren, VT (April 2, 2014) – Sugarbush Resort is extending Mt. Ellen’s operations this weekend with Passholder Appreciation Weekend.
The resort will reopen Mt. Ellen for skiing and riding to passholders on Saturday, April 5th and Sunday, April 6th. Both Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen will be operating under spring hours with GMX and Super Bravo running from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and all other lifts spinning 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Sugarbush terrain is still 100% open going into the weekend.
“With the great snowpack we’ve built up since February, we wanted to show our appreciation to all the passholders by staying open an additional weekend,” said Win Smith, president of Sugarbush Resort. “While the demand for skiing and riding in April is often low, we know many of our passholders will enjoy the extra weekend of fun.”
Mt. Ellen will close with live music and a visit from Sugarbush Ambassador and Sochi Olympian Nolan Kasper. Kasper will be offering free coaching and training on Inverness from 10:00 AM to noon, and meeting guests and signing autographs at 12:30 PM in the Mt. Ellen Base Lodge.
Lincoln Peak is expected to remain open through Sunday, May 4th, if conditions allow.
