Sugarbush Resort Offers Free Spring Skiing With Purchase of 2016-2017 Season Passes


Warren, VT (March 14, 2016) – Sugarbush Resort is offering free skiing and riding from March 21st through the remainder of the 2015/16 Winter Season with the purchase of select 2016/2017 season passes. Passes will be available for purchase March 18th.

By purchasing next year’s season pass this spring, Sugarbush skiers and riders lock in the best rates. Adult 2016/2017 season passes can start as low as $339. Full details on season pass pricing are available at Lowest available pricing is valid through May 4, 2016.

2016/17 seven-day passes will include free dependent passes. Purchasing an Adult All Mountain 7 Pass comes with a free dependent All Mountain Pass for a child age 12 and under. A family of four with two kids under the age of 12 could purchase two Adult All Mountain 7 Passes and ski for just $575 per person. A Mt. Ellen 7 family of four can ski for just $270 per person, and a Mt. Ellen 7 Plus family for just $398 per person.

All 2016/17 All Mountain 7 passholders receive a 2016 Summer Season Pass for free,  which includes scenic lift rides, lift-served mountain biking and disc golf.

All other 2016-2017 winter passholders can add a 2016 Summer Season Pass for just $30.

Sugarbush is also returning with its popular For20s All Mountain 7 Pass and its Boomer All Mountain 5 Pass for just $339 and $99 respectively. For20s passholder’s age as of May 4th, 2016 and Boomer passholder’s age as of November 1st, 2016 determines age category.

All 2016/17 7 passes come with resort discounts. These include: 10% off tuning services at the Tune Shop; 10% off golf green’s fees and carts; 20% off Resort lodging; 10% off at Timbers Restaurant and Hogan’s Pub; 10% off retail at the Adventure Gear Shop, Health and Racquet Club, and Golf Shop; and 20% off various adult group lessons. Discounts apply to summer, as well.

2016 Spring Passes are also available and include skiing and riding from March 21st through the end of this season for only $199. Lincoln Peak will remain open into at least April with significant base depths on spring trails. Mt. Ellen closes March 27th.

Coinciding with the Spring Pass Launch is Sugarbush’s Sugaring Time Festival, a celebration of the start of spring and sugaring season. Saturday, March 19th festivities will include maple themed activities and specials like a maple nip scavenger hunt, maple-inspired games, and dining specials throughout the resort.
