Spring can be a bittersweet time of year for the Sugarbush faithful. While it marks the end of ski season, (this season being a particularly fabulous one), it also marks the beginning of the season at the Sugarbush Resort Golf Club. You can almost see the grass on the course becoming more and more green and lush by the minute as the powerful spring sun shines down. The phenomenon of peering up at the snow clad ski slopes from the green grass of the golf club is something that stops me in my tracks every year and reminds me of one of the many reasons that I call the Valley home.
This coming weekend, May 4th and 5th marks the 6th Annual Ski and Tee Weekend at Sugarbush Resort. This amazing weekend allows Sugarbush patrons to hit the slopes and the links in the same day, as the Sugarbush Resort Golf Club is just a stone’s throw from the slopes at Lincoln Peak. Take a minute to ask yourself, “Where and when will I have the opportunity to ski and golf on the same day just minutes apart?” It’s a tough one to answer, but at Sugarbush we’ve made this happen for the last 5 years and plan to do so again this weekend. So, take a few more laps down Stein’s, then bid adieu to the ski season and head down to the club for a few swings or a great lunch and beverage at Hogan’s Pub. While you are at the course, check out our brand new fleet of Yamaha Quietech Golf Carts, renovations to the bar at Hogan’s, fresh new carpet, and renovated bathrooms!
Beyond Opening weekend, we have a full slate of events on tap at the club, check out our event calendar for the full details, but here are a few of the highlights….
