The holidays are always a magical time here in the Mad River Valley. Decorative lights, local food, and the start of the ski season combine to make the valley buzz with excitement. This Thanksgiving, we are thankful to see the Valley turn into the quintessential beautiful snow-scape that so many know it as.
Sugarbush Resort opened early for skiing on Wednesday last week and snow has fallen each day since, setting the scene for the ski season. This week, we look forward to more terrain being open for skiing, local restaurants hosting Thanksgiving meals, and more snow in the forecast.
Wherever you choose to spend Thanksgiving this year, we hope it is joyous. If you find yourself in the Mad River Valley be sure to consider some of the following events to get a taste of the holiday spirit at Sugarbush:
Thanksgiving Buffet at Rumble’s Kitchen: Thursday, November 23rd from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Gadd Brook Open House: Saturday, November 25th from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
