Our groomers and snowmakers got us through the brief winterlude in late January, while February has just dawned and it's already living up to its snowy reputation. A couple of recent refresher systems did a nice job of covering the base layer in most places and the turns are back to mid-winter glory throughout the resort.

If all we had was what has already fallen, you'd hear few complaints, but potentially the biggest storm of the season so far is just kicking off and it's about to get epic. We're in the snow flow again and this storm cycle looks solid, with several more chances for accumulation in the 10 day forecast.

When the flakes start flying like this, it's time to clear the decks and make some turns. Even in the best winters, powder days are precious and I don't know anybody that claims to be soft snow satiated.
