Sugarbush has purchased the Lincoln Limo, a twelve-passenger luxury cabin cat equipped with a flat screen TV and cushy seats, making the resort the only one in the Eastern U.S. to offer cat-serviced opportunities such as skiing/riding, dining, sightseeing and more. Remote Fireside Dining at Allyn’s Lodge

Ride the Lincoln Limo to the top of Gadd Peak for a candle-lit gourmet feast in Allyn’s Lodge. Hearty meal includes appetizers, entree, wine, and coffee. Following the dinner, guests have the option to ski down under the moonlight taking in the commanding views, or ride in the cat back to the base. (Ski-down option dependent upon conditions.) Dessert is served at Timbers following the 'ski down'.

Dates: For availability of dates, call Guest Services at (802) 583-6590. Dinners may be available for private requests with at least one-week notice—minimum of eight people required.

Time: Those wishing to make the strenuous hour and fifteen-minute skin or snowshoe trip up to Allyn’s Lodge should meet their guide at 4:45 PM at Timbers Restaurant. Guests wishing to ride the cat meet at Timbers at 6 PM Evening ends around 9:30/9:45 PM

Sunset Groomer Rides

Enjoy an early-evening, hour-long ride in our cabin cat to the summit of Lincoln Peak, above Heaven's Gate to the terminus of the historic Sugarbush Gondola.

Dates: Saturdays from Dec. 19-Mar. 27 & holidays (12/25 – 1/3, 1/16 – 1/18 and 2/13 – 2/21). Private parties also available – call for details.

Time: 5-6 PM (meet at Lincoln Peak Guest Services at 4:45 PM)

Rates: $TBD per person.

Kids’ Parties

Same as the Sunset Groomer Ride (above), but with cake and pizza afterwards in the Gate House Lodge. Great for birthdays and other celebrations for groups to a max of 12!

Dates: Available at Lincoln Peak through March 27th, excluding dates of Sunset Groomer Rides.

Time: 5-7 PM

Rates: $TBD, for hour-long groomer ride, followed by pizza and cake in Gate House Lodge.

Powder-Morning First Tracks

There’s truth in the old proverb, “The early bird catches the worm.” At Sugarbush 12 passengers will ride the Lincoln Limo and experience pristine, deep powder, or fast, untouched corduroy as they cruise down the mountain before anyone else.

First-tracks tours leave from the base of Lincoln Peak, and get you to the best terrain before the lifts start spinning. The path of the cat will be determined by conditions—tours may go to the top of Heaven’s Gate, the top of North Lynx, into the Slide Brook Wilderness Area or elsewhere, based on the judgment of the guide. The tour includes an en route pastry breakfast from Timbers Restaurant, a movie to get the adrenaline pumping, Sugarbush guides and one or two cat-served runs. First Tracks-trips are available for advanced skiers and riders only.

Powder-Day First Tracks: “When it’s snowing, we’re going,” is the motto here. The decision will be made the afternoon before and will be posted on the snow report. Sign up on a first come, first serve basis at the Lincoln Peak Guest Services desk.

Any-Day First Tracks: Just because it isn’t scheduled, doesn’t mean we won’t go. Put together a group of 8 or more and we’ll take you up the hill for some early morning skiing and riding. Book at least 48-hours in advance through Guest Services. Advance payment is required. No refunds.

Time: Tours meet at 7 AM at Timbers Restaurant

April Cabin Cat at Mt. Ellen

Once the lifts close at Mt. Ellen on March 28th, the Lincoln Limo will be available for group bookings on Sugarbush’s highest peak. A Sugarbush guide, a boxed lunch and refreshments are included.

Dates: Any day you please, beginning March 29th, and ending when the snow melts. Reservations required.

Time: 10 AM to 2 PM

Rates: $TBD for up to 12 people and $TBD per additional person. Groups over 12 will rotate getting rides up the hill. Includes a Sugarbush guide, boxed lunch and refreshments. For reservations call the the Lincoln Peak Guest Service desk at 802.583.6590.
