Learning a new sport is exciting but can be challenging and sometimes scary. Our professional staff of coaches, certified by The Professional Ski Instructors of America, keep the adventure in learning while keeping you in your comfort zone! Our motto is, Be Better Here through Safety, Fun and Learning. First Timer PackageOur First-Timer package is a three-lesson series for those who have never tried skiing or riding. From guidance through our specially designed beginner equipment, booting up, skating and gliding, and first turns to using lifts. This program puts the fun into learning to ski or ride.
FREE Season Passes & FREE Group LessonsThe National Ski Areas Association predicts skier/rider visits could plunge to 40 million by 2019, down from a high of 60 million just two years ago. One of the main reasons: fewer than 2% of those who try skiing and riding for the first time return to the slopes. And if that prediction comes true, skiing and riding will be changed (for the worse) forever. But we think we can reverse this trend. ** This offer is only for people who have never skied or boarded before! No scamming...we can tell and we will withdraw this offer from you. Prices

MORE IMPORTANT INFO FOR FIRST TIMERS
When is the best time of year to take a First Timer Lesson?Mother Nature rules! Early in the season November – Christmas, depending upon weather and snow conditions, may not be a good time to take a First Timer Lesson. First Timer Lessons are given at the bottom of the mountain. This area is the last place on the mountain where enough snow builds up to slide on and run lifts, especially surface lifts. In late season, after April 1st, the bottom of the mountain is the first place to lose snow. If you are thinking of taking a First Timer Lesson early season or late season, we recommend that you first call our reservations desk at 888.651.4827 to get specific information about conditions in our beginner terrain. What if I have gear and a ticket?Q: What if I have a lift ticket and my own equipment (and my equipment is appropriate and safe for me), how much would any First Timer lesson cost?A: You can take any of our First-Timer lessons for $50. What to wear and how to prepare for your First Timer lesson:
What If I Arrive Late?Classes will not be held for late arrivals. Sorry but this isn’t fair to the people who have made the effort to arrive on time. If you are late, we will make an effort to put you in the proper group, but this can be difficult. You may have to come back and take a later lesson.
