Roll-over a face to meet the people who make Sugarbush such an incredible experience.

Win Smith • President and CEO of Sugarbush Resort

Win first came to Sugarbush to ski with a bunch of college buddies in the winter of ‘69-70. Quite the sports jock in college with soccer and rugby, Win continued a legacy by joining Merrill Lynch and eventually rising to Chairman, Merrill Lynch International. Win returned to Sugarbush at the age of 35 and found his true passion for the slopes. And now, he’s the man leading the team at Sugarbush.

Misse Doe • Manager at Timbers Restaurant

Expect a big smile and even warmer welcome from Misse Doe, our new manager up at Timbers. A garlic lover from Lancaster P.A., Misse brings an incredible sense of calm to her role as manager – and believes that’s the key to making things run smoothly. Misse is thrilled to be at Sugarbush where she can now do fun things like run the local indoor farmers’ market and feed her passion for the great outdoors.

John Egan • Chief Recreational Officer (a.k.a. Minister of Fun)

Mountain man of supreme extremes, John personifies the fire-breathing spirit of skiing at Sugarbush. Trained by some of our greatest skiers here in the late ‘70s, John became an extreme daredevil – skiing all over the planet in all kinds of remote locations. Launched by his gravity-defying antics in Warren Miller films and still a globetrotter and guide, John (call him Eganbrutha) invites you to come ski with him to see what Sugarbush is really all about.

Gerry Nooney • Executive Chef at Timbers Restaurant

Chef Gerry Nooney is master of all things culinary at Sugarbush. Not just the creator of the legendary Ski Vermont Farmhouse Chowder, Gerry “keeps it local” with Vermont produce at Timbers and – for the lucky few – serves up hearty dinners at Allyn’s Lodge. While not spinning pots, he keeps a blog at www.agakitchen.com, stars in a TV cooking show and hits the trails on his mountain bike.

Mary Ann Raymond • Ski Coach

Revered ski coach here for thirty years and counting, Mary Ann (call her M.A. for short) inspires students with a holistic view of the mountains and skiing. With her ski boots covered in stickers and her hair in braids, M.A. says the big family feeling on the hill is what makes Sugarbush super special. (Her fave ski trail? Spillsville and the woods in between.)
