Nice work Team Sugarbush! The Resort accepted the Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence at the Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility conference in Burlington earlier this week. Sugarbush was recognized for its water quality project in the Rice Brook watershed. Vermont’s Agency of Natural Resources removed Rice Brook from the state’s list of “impaired waters” due to the resorts environmental programs. Rice Brook is the third brook Sugarbush has restored to meet Vermont’s water quality standards.
Skiing Slidebrook
Wow! What an incredible weekend of skiing. Up to two feet of snow in the upper elevations and then a bluebird Sunday. Does it get any better?
Saturday I enjoyed my first trek of the season into Slidebrook – accompanying Egan and very happy Clay Brook owners.
