WHEN COMING TO NET, KEEP YOUR ELBOWS TOGETHER LIKE THEY WERE TIED WITH ROPE.
One of the most common mistakes I see club players make is that they approach the net with their elbows at the sides of their body. This can cause players to react late to their volleys. If one simply moves with one's elbows in front as though they were tied together with rope, one will be able to react to shots in front of the body more consistently.
