Mini Blazer Riders - Full Day
Welcome to the Blazer community at Sugarbush! Generations of devoted snowsports lovers and their families have found a home in the Blazer program over the decades, and there still is no better way for Sugarbush kids to grow into all-mountain riders here in New England’s best winter playground.
A mountain adventure for young riders, Mini Blazer Riders promotes teamwork among the same kids and coaches each weekend, making snowboarding at Sugarbush a major component of growing up with the mountains as a playground. Our highly skilled and carefully trained instructors promote a fun and safe environment in which to experience snow-filled adventures and to gain the skills necessary to ride with confidence.
Mini Blazer Riders meet on snow every Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, December 10, 2016 to March 19, 2017, excluding December 24 and 25.
Mini Blazer Riders must be linking turns with confidence on green terrain access off of chair lifts and be able to ride a chair lift unassisted. Riders should be moving with the terrain and not skidding defensively.
Groups are typically formed during the first two weekends in December. Participants are urged to attend so that our coaches can establish groups that work well together and have a blast for the remainder of the season.
All Mini Blazer Riders must have a Sugarbush All Mountain Pass ($30 fee for kids 6 and under). Mini Blazers includes a NASTAR Race Arena season pass and a 20% cafeteria food discount for use on program weekends.
Can’t commit to every weekend from December through March but still want to enjoy Sugarbush in a cost effective way? The 18-Day Schoolhouse Pass allows you to choose which dates work best for you. Geared towards families who want more flexibility, our new 18-Day Schoolhouse Pass is valid seven days a week all season long with no date restrictions. Available through November 30, 2016 at the same rate as the Mini Blazer Riders.
Early Rate (thru Sept 14th): $1,445
