Remote Fireside Wine Dinner at Allyn's Lodge

  • Same as the Remote Fireside Dining, but with a special wine twist each evening.
  • Time: Those wishing to make the strenuous hour and fifteen-minute skin or snowshoe trip up to Allyn's Lodge should meet their guide at 4:45 PM at Timbers Restaurant. Guests wishing to ride the cat meet at Timbers by 6 PM. Evening ends around 9:30/9:45 PM.
  • Dates: February 12, March 4 and March 18. Please book well in advance, as these do sell out fast. Sundays: Dinners may be available for private groups with at least one-week notice-minimum of 8 people required.
  • Rates: Scheduled dinners for $175 per person. Private dinners for groups up to twelve are also available. Larger groups can be accommodated by special request.
  • Contact & Reservations: Reservations required. For reservations stop by Guest Services in the Gate House Lodge at Lincoln Peak or call 802-583-6590.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 1 week or more prior to the scheduled dinner will receive a full refund. Cancelleations made less than 1 week prior to the dinner will only be refunded if dinner can be resold. Sugarbush reserves the right to cancel the event due to weather/conditions.
  • Sunday, February 12:  Wines of the Napa Valley

    We’ll take a journey through California’s Napa Valley, guided by Sugarbush Executive Chef Gerry Nooney and Baker Distributing wine expert Sean Rupp.

    Featured wines include: Stags Leap Sauvignon Blanc, Levendi Red Hen Chardonnay, Charles Krug Pinot Noir and Robert Mondavi Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

    Sunday, March 4: Wines of Oregon

    Our  second wine journey will be to the Pacific Northwestern region of Dundee, Oregon guided by Sugarbush Executive Chef Gerry Nooney and Baker Distributing wine expert Sean Rupp.

    Featured wines include: Argyle sparkling brut, Nut House Chardonnay, and two featured Pinot Noirs.

    Sunday, March 18: Blind Wines

    A mysterious adventure of food and wine pairings guided by Sugarbush Executive Chef Gerry Nooney and Waitsfield Wine Shoppe owner and oenophile Joan Wilson. Local foods will be served with carefully selected wines whose labels have been removed. This is an evening for you to learn about and evaluate wines on taste alone. Wine labels will be disclosed at the end of the evening.
