Timbers Restaurant Invites the Public to Sample Winter Menu on December 7th
Warren, VT (December 5, 2015) – This Monday, December 7th, Timbers Restaurant at Sugarbush Resort will host its annual Taste of Timbers, where guests are invited to sample items from the new winter menu created by head chef Todd Dibkey.
Chef Dibkey arrived at the resort in the fall of 2013 and began introducing international flavors into the menu. His culinary tastes are influenced by time he spent in Hawaii, Alaska, Italy, and Asia and Timbers now serves world cuisine with a local flair.
Timbers will also introduce new General Manager Chris Peck. Peck brings restaurant experience from his past work history at Stowe, Bolton Valley, and most recently VT National Country Club. He also owned and ran Waterbury Wings for eight years.
Taste of Timbers runs from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and is open to the public. The Timbers staff will offer complimentary samples off the new winter menu, and a cash bar will be open for the evening.
The new winter menu features offerings influenced by Dibkey’s international experience with items like Coconut Chicken Satay, Poutine, Venison Stew, and Pork Belly Tacos. These items and others will continue to utilize local ingredients from Gaylord Farm, Black River Produce, Wood Mountain Fish, Misty Knoll, Hollandeer Farm and others.
