Sugarbush To Host Free Skiing This Weekend
Warren, VT (April 30, 2013) – Sugarbush Resort announces free skiing Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th.
Sugarbush Resort plans to hold a weekend of free skiing at Lincoln Peak this Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th weather permitting. Sugarbush is asking interesting skiers and riders to put their name on a will call list before showing up to the mountain. What terrain will be available for the weekend has not yet been determined.
“We decided to provide a free weekend of skiing as a big thank you to everyone who made this season such a special one,” said Win Smith, President of Sugarbush Resort. “Since we still have snow up here on the mountain, we wanted to offer everyone a chance to get a few more runs before the summer. It also provides a way for someone to check out a mountain they might not normally try.”
While the skiing and riding is free, Sugarbush is encouraging anyone who comes to give a contribution to the Vermont Land Trust for the purchase of one of Vermont’s icons –Bragg Farm. Recently Sugarbush’s Timbers Restaurant and Win Smith donated $10,000 to the farm as part of Timber’s membership in 1% for the Planet.
