May 14th, 2014 (Warren, Vt) — Employees of Sugarbush Resort were in Burlington recently being recognized by the Vermont Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports for the company’s workplace wellness initiatives. One of 91 businesses considered for this award, Sugarbush touted its wellness program and initiatives, such as employee fitness classes, free on-site biometric screenings, an annual wellness fair and other onsite efforts to promote physical fitness and a healthy work-life balance.
Sugarbush’s Employee Services team received recognition from Governor Peter Shumlin, state health commissioner Harry Chen, and Janet Franz, chair of the Vermont Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
