Sugarbush Resort Golf Club Giving Away Pass and Lessons to Military Family
Warren, VT (May 18, 2016) – Sugarbush Resort Golf Club is giving away one Gold Family Pass and five PGA pro lessons to a deserving military family this spring. The resort invites all Vermont-based active members of the Armed Forces--including the National Guard and Reserves--and their immediate families to apply for the complimentary membership and lessons. The PGA pro lessons will be taught by Roger King, newly-named PGA pro at Sugarbush Resort Golf Club and 2012 Vermont PGA professional of the year.
Interested military members and families are asked to write a letter stating the reason they or their family deserves the free 2016 Golf Gold Family Pass and five PGA lessons. The Gold Family Pass is valued at $3400; the five PGA (one hour lessons) are valued at $450.
Sugarbush representatives will review all entries and choose a winner the following week. Entrants are asked to send their letters via email to Roger King at firstname.lastname@example.org by June 15th, 2016.
Sugarbush has a long history of supporting military members and their families. In winter, the resort offers free All Mountain Passes to Active Duty military members deployed in a combat zone and their families, and to currently-deployed Vermont Air National Guard members and their families. The resort also offers discounted season passes and day tickets to non-deployed military members and retired military members. And for the last five years, Sugarbush has hosted the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program for a free ski day, including lessons and equipment. Approximately 100 veterans and family members participate in this program each January.
