Sugarbush offers free lift tickets on May 1, 2011
Sunny weather in the forecast – celebrate it on the hilll
Warren, VT – Sugarbush is celebrating skiing into May this year by giving away free lift tickets on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Patrons are encouraged to come with a festive spring attitude and attire, sunblock, rubber knees for bashing the bumps and their friends. The day gets underway at 9 a.m. when the Super Bravo Lift starts spinning.
The free day on May 1 brings back a longstanding Sugarbush tradition – free skiing on the first of May. Sugarbush will host a barbeque with food and drink specials on the deck outside the Castlerock Pub. Sunday’s weather looks outstanding, with forecasts showing mostly sunny skies with high temperatures in the 60s.
The resort will also be open this Saturday, and will offer $49 adult lift tickets. Additionally, those holding a 2010-11 season pass from any another resort may present it for a 2-for-1 Sugarbush lift ticket. Saturdays forecast is calling for sun and temperatures in the 50s.
The exact number of trails open this weekend is to be determined, but guests should expect intermediate to advanced skiing and riding on Lincoln Peak classics such as Ripcord, Organgrinder, Stein’s Run, Spring Fling and more. Sunday marks Sugarbush’s last guaranteed day of winter operations, with the possibility of reopening the weekend of May 7-8, conditions permitting.
