For the few hundred music and beer fans that are lucky enough to buy their tickets before they sell out, the first annual event is sure to be an unforgettable afternoon of craft beers and live music.
But for a lucky pair of ticket holders, the day will end on an even higher note ... with a free night's accommodations at the luxurious Clay Brook hotel.
All Solstice Brew-Grass Festival tickets purchased prior to June 15 will be eligible for the drawing. To enter, purchase your tickets in advance by calling 800.53.SUGAR, then go to the Solstice Brew-Grass Facebook page and click the 'I'm Attending' button. The winner will receive one night slopeside king room for two at Clay Brook on June 18, 2011, with breakfast included at Timbers.
Rolling from 3 pm to 8 pm, the Solstice BrewGrass Festival is slated to feature Vermont brewing talents from the Bobcat Café, Harpoon, Long Trail, Magic Hat, Northshire, Otter Creek, Rock Art (tentative), Sam Adams, Shed, Shipyard, Smuttynose, Switchback, Trout River, Trapp's, Wolavers, Woodchuck Cider, and Woodstock Inn Brewery.
Setting the musical mood for the afternoon, a foursome of fantastic musicians will play throughout the event, including Three Tall Pines, the Starline Rhythm Boys, Phineas Gage and Seawolves.
Admission is $25 and includes beer samples, live music and a souvenir glass. Barbecue fare will be available throughout the day.
