Porsche Cars North America returns to Vermont’s Sugarbush Resort for the Porsche Winter Driving Experience

Feb. 4, 2014 (Warren, VT) - Porsche Cars North America is once again joining
forces with Sugarbush Resort in Warren, Vermont to host a unique winter driving
program for prospective Porsche customers. The program will focus on
familiarizing participants with Porsche AWD technology and performance, as well
as demonstrating the capability of the 911 Carrera 4S with winter tires. The
Porsche Winter Driving Experience will run from Thursday, Feb. 6 – Sunday,
Feb. 9, 2014.

The Porsche Winter Driving Experience features a 1.5-mile driving course
starting at the base of Sugarbush’s Mt. Ellen, continuing midway up the mountain
via the Straight Shot trail, then turning and going down the Crackerjack trail. The
course features a series of corners and elevation changes designed to test the
capabilities of the 911 Carrera 4S under the guidance of Porsche Certified

“Porsche is thrilled to showcase the winter driving capabilities of the 911 Carrera
4S model in such a unique environment as the one created for us here at
Sugarbush” said Mick Pallardy, Porsche’s Area East Vice President. “It provides
the vehicles with the perfect situation to demonstrate the truly confident AWD
characteristics of the 911, when properly equipped with winter tires.”

The 911 Carrera 4S features a 3.8-liter boxer engine that delivers 400
horsepower at 7,400 RPM and has a top track speed of 185 mph. The 911
Carrera 4S combines power and winter driving performance with the intelligent
Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive system.

Dealers from PCNA Area East will host groups of clients at Sugarbush to
experience the 911 Carrera 4S first -hand in wintry conditions.

Guests of the event will lodge at Clay Brook Hotel and Residences, Sugarbush’s
slopeside accommodations. Courtesy Porsche Cayennes and Panameras will be
available for PWDE participants as well as Clay Brook owners and guests during
their stay at the hotel. During the day, guests may check out a car for a trip into
town; or in the evening, valet service will be available to take guests to dinner
around the Mad River Valley in Porsche vehicles.

“We are very excited to be partnering with Porsche again on this event. And I am
personally looking forward to discovering the limits of the 911 by driving it on the
mountain course at Mt. Ellen,” said President of Sugarbush Resort Win Smith.

The Porsche Winter Driving Experience at Sugarbush features two morning and
two afternoon driving sessions each day, for four days. While the Porsche Winter
Driving Experience runs through Feb. 9, Porsche vehicles will be available at the
resort to Clay Brook owners and guests to use through Feb. 23rd.
