Gadd Brook Slopeside at Sugarbush Resort Nearing Completion

Warren, VT (June 28th, 2016) – Sugarbush Resort’s Gadd Brook Slopeside development project, sixteen ski-in/ski-out, whole ownership condominiums at the base of Lincoln Peak, is nearing completion. The residences are expected to be complete within the next few weeks and could be ready for occupancy as soon as mid-July.

Most units are in the punch list stage with interior final touches wrapping up in both units and common areas. The exterior completion is on track as well. Most of the decks are finished with railings installed and the columns trimmed out. The area to the west of the building, referred to as “The Green”, is almost fully dressed with hydroseeding scheduled for the end of the week. Paving will begin just after the July 4th holiday.

Gadd Brook Slopeside is the second phase of residential development at Sugarbush’s Lincoln Peak. Gadd Brook is named after the resort’s founders, Damon and Sarah Gadd, who opened Sugarbush on Christmas Day in 1958. Gadd Brook is designed by The Design Group of Warren, Vermont, the same group that designed Rice Brook Residences—fifteen slopeside homes in three buildings at the base of Lincoln Peak. Rice Brook Residences were completed in 2013 and are completely sold out. Vermont-based Naylor and Breen Builders is the general contractor for Gadd Brook.

In 2004, Sugarbush worked with the EB-5 financing program to raise $20 million for development of the Lincoln Peak base area. Of the forty investors in the resort’s EB-5 program, 18 investors have been redeemed. Proceeds from the sale of Gadd Brook will go towards redeeming the other 22 investors in the program.

Two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes are still available for purchase. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact Sugarbush Resort Real Estate at 800-806-1070.
