Summary:
In maintaining the high standards that our guests have come to expect, our housekeeping team is a critical component of Sugarbush Resort’s full-service lodging. Our housekeeping vision is to provide courteous, quality housekeeping services and to ensure a sanitized, clean and welcoming environment. Efficient, detail-oriented individuals who take responsibility seriously and work well unsupervised are our ideal teammates.
Responsibilities:
The essential functions of our housekeepers are to clean guest rooms or individually owned condominiums in a thorough and timely manner. Attention to detail is a must, as candidates are also expected to report maintenance issues, missing inventory, or damage. Additional tasks may involve cleaning and organizing common areas or assisting other departments as needed.
Requirements:
High school degree or equivalency and a minimum of 6 months prior experience are required; previous hospitality and/or janitorial experience preferred. Appropriate candidates should be flexible enough to roll with resort business levels as activity ebbs and flows. Also must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Self-motivation and reliability are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to regularly reach, stoop, and bend; must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasional outside activity may require exposure to adverse weather conditions. Knowledge of or ability to learn proper use of cleaning chemicals with strong attention to safety is required.
