Yin Yoga w/ Divya Whitecage
Yin Yoga – Just as active yoga stretches the muscles of the body, yin yoga postures stretch the connective tissues around the joints and muscles. To open these dense areas of the body, the muscles must be at rest. Postures are combined with stillness and held between 3-5 minutes. This allows for a deep meditative state and opening of the flow of energy through the meridians of the connective tissues. Yin yoga is a wonderful complement to any Yang practice.
