If you are not running in the Boston Marathon, watching the Red Sox, or cramming to finish your tax return, it is another great day to be on the slopes here at Sugarbush. This is the winter that won't end. With over 23 feet of natural snowfall this season, Lincoln Peak is still deep in snow. We are planning to stay open every day through Sunday, April 28th. Hopefully we will have a final weekend celebration on Cinco de Mayo.

For Monday through Friday this week, we will be running the Bravo, Heaven's Gate and Village lifts, so we have skiing and riding for all abilities. Timbers will be open for breakfast every day until 11AM and Castlerock Pub will open for lunch at 11AM. Given the few visitors we usually see this time of year, some services are limited but we want to keep the mountain open as long as we can for those diehards. Personally, I am hoping to get in several more days before hanging up my skis for the season.
Over the past couple of days we have received more snow, especially at the summit, but this week it looks like we are finally going to see temperatures rising into the 50s and 60s and hopefully some sunshine as well.
I am headed out now for some early turns.
So what would you expect a former Executive Vice President of Merrill Lynch to do when he retires? Lay low in the islands? Nope. He moves north and works seven days a week right here at Sugarbush. Check out what he's been thinking.
