My wife Lili recently said, "March and April are the payoff for skiing the past four months." Like many of us, she loves skiing under sunny skies and in soft spring moguls. We didn't have great spring skiing last year, but I have a feeling that we will be enjoying some really fun skiing and riding this March and April. In fact, I am hoping we can have a Cinco de Mayo party at Lincoln Peak before we move into summer mode.
For those of you who are not current season pass holders, I want you to know that we are offering a Spring Pass for only $199 (plus tax) that is valid Monday, March 18th through the last day that our lifts turn. While the season is far from over, we are putting next year's passes on sale now, too. Even though a number of operational costs (such as insurance, energy, and taxes) are rising, we greatly appreciate the support and loyalty of our passholders and are therefore holding our season pass pricing the same as last year at this time. However, these prices will be good only through May 8, 2013. And remember that any new purchaser of an All Mountain, Mt. Ellen Plus or Fancy Pass for next season will receive a free Spring Pass for this year.
We have a number of great events during March, culminating on the 31st with our traditional non-denominational Easter Sunday Service at Lincoln Peak, led by "The Rev." There will be an Easter Egg Hunt at both Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen this year, too.
The winter started strong with near-record December snowfall and "Moose on the Loose." We recovered well from our two mini-thaws and the mountain is in great shape. Now let's hope for some snowy nights and sunny days over the next two months to cap off a terrific winter season.
Hope to see you soon,
Win
