Boot camp is not just for the navy or marine corps. The Sugarbush Health and Racquet Club started its own two-week boot camp this morning at 6:30 AM, under the leadership of Katrina O'Connell. For 45 minutes, she had us stretching and building-up our heart rates with the use of light weights and movement. We were weighed and measured and have been given a menu to follow each day. We are also supposed to do another 45 minutes of aerobic exercise before this evening. The group will work together for the entire two weeks. And just like real boot camp, I am sure we will need to reinforce each other to keep going.
This is just one of the many fitness activities available at Sugarbush right now. It surely fits under the banner of Be Better Here this summer.

The forecast for the week is looking really nice. Warm but not too hot with mostly sunny days and cool nights. There is a chance of a summer thunderstorm on some days. But remember! "It never rains on the Warren Parade" and the parade begins at 10 AM "sharp" on the Fourth. Sugarbush has its float ready to go. We hope to see many of you along the parade route this year and then up at the mountain later in the day for music, fun activities, food and drink and fireworks.
