Mother Nature, please be our Valentine! Even though you have been in a foul mood all winter, we still love you. Rather than get angry at the way you have treated us, we have decided to send you some love since we still have most of February, March, and April for you to show us some love, too.
Actually the forecast for the balance of the week is looking more favorable. The warmer temperatures are going to allow our groomers to dig into all the snowmaking trails aggressively, and you will be very pleased with their work. We have good depth on all on them.
Yesterday Sleeper was getting quite firm down the middle but our snowmaker, Warren, ripped into it on the late shift. I just skied it and it was smooth and in great shape. This is what we will be doing all over the mountain over the next few days in preparation for the busy holiday weekend.
Tony, our weatherman, is calling for some snow Thursday night into Friday. That would be icing on the cake and make for a terrific President's Weekend.
We have a lot of fun events scheduled and it appears that it will be cold enough to keep the rain away but warm enough to be really comfortable on the slopes all week.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Win
