Looking at the volume of season pass sales that have come in for next year, it is good to know that you have not given up on winter. On November 1st -- less than six months away -- we will fire-up the snow guns (assuming that Mother Nature brings in the cold). While that may seem far away, we have a number of things for you to do in the meantime...
Our golf course officially opens for the season this weekend, along with Hogan's Pub. We have been walking and playing the front nine for the past couple of weeks, and now the full 18 holes will be available. For this time of year, the course is in great shape. We did some additional drainage work on the 10th and 18th fairways, and will be constructing some new forward tees on the 6th, 10th and 12th holes. With last week's rain showers and warming temperatures, everything will be blooming soon.
Timbers reopens with dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Next weekend's schedule will be the same, then starting May 18th, Timbers will be open daily for breakfast and Thursday through Sunday for dinner. Our first of twenty-eight weddings this season will be held this weekend and the weather forecast is looking favorable for the celebration. Next weekend is the Mad Triathlon, which begins at Lincoln Peak and ends right in front of Gate House Lodge with a lunchtime celebration and live music
Hope to see many of you before our snow guns blast again.
