While summer doesn't officially end for another three weeks, Labor Day weekend traditionally ushers out the season. There is not much time left, so seize the few remaining opportunities for carefree warm weather fun.
The local farms and chefs' gardens are bursting with fresh flavors. Early autumn colors are beginning to compete with the wildflowers. The golf course, mountain activities, trails and back roads are all in prime condition and every thing is open daily through this weekend.
All the world's a Green Mountain Stage Race.
Labor Day weekend is full of great events in the Mad River Valley, including the 43rd Annual MRV Craft Fair and the Green Mountain Stage Race. The GMSR is one of the premier cycling events in North America, with pros and olympians riding alongside regional and local heroes and heroines. Please be patient, if you find yourself behind one of the many fields that will be racing throughout the Valley and beyond.
Grand Point North Festival is coming soon!
A mere two weeks away, the stage is already set for the Grand Point North Festival, which Sugarbush is sponsoring. Waitsfield-based international rock star Grace Potter is the headliner and main force behind the fest, which also features other big name acts like Trombone Shorty and Gov't Mule. Better get your tickets now, before they sell out.
Early showing. Foliage season is just around the corner.
Perfect weather for outdoor fun!

Coach Jesse says get your season pass now. Early deadline is Sept 12th!
Better be here now, because it's going to be snowing before you know it. Commonly, our first flakes are a mere six weeks from now. Before that though, we have got a ton of fun to squeeze in, so join us for what promises to be another fine summer weekend in the Mad River Valley.
