Our first snow fell right on cue last weekend, providing a fleeting taste of winter and contrasting beautifully with the brilliant foliage. Magical moments like this make the end of the warm months much easier to bear. In fact, if you listened closely on Monday morning, there was a collective cheer throughout the Mad River Valley. Woohoo!
White gold red blue green and yellow.
The mountain is open for one more weekend, although lift-served biking is done for the season. Gate House Quad will be open for lift rides and hiking, plus other mountain activities will be rolling too. The Sugarbush Golf Club is in great condition with sweet foliage lining the fairways. Check here for specific fall info. Get ready for Halloween Glo-golf!

The crisp autumn air is full of falling leaves and promises of great things to come. After last winter's challenges, everybody is ready for snow that falls deeper and sticks around longer.

A foliage tornado?

Rails to trails. Check out the Slopestyle Ski and Ride Rail Jam with the Norwich U. Ski Club and Sugarbush Parks this Saturday in Montpelier.
If you want an early taste of winter fun, this Rail Jam should be good appetizer. Stay tuned for more Parks' events and news. Tony and crew are hard at work prepping and planning. Be ready to have your mind blown!

Get your pass yet? Only 36 sunrises until projected Opening Day!

GMVS has joined the Revolution.

There is still a lot of great riding and hiking to enjoy this fall.
Be sure to ramp up your workouts, winter is close. Dropping into that first run of the season should be a moment full of joy and confidence, not wondering if you are strong enough.

Lovely leaves.
Fall still has a lot of beauty to share, but it's going fast. Time waits for no man. We hope to see you soon.
