Spring Clean - Sugarbush Stoke Exchange

Thursday, May 29, 2014

While it feels more and more like summer in the Valley, the green progression still has not hit the ridge tops and the spring flower explosion continues to erupt. Seasonal transitions don't often follow clean schedules here and overlaps are pretty much guaranteed.

Snow persists in several spots around the resort, but these two piles will probably be the last ones to go.

That said, we are quickly catching up and the mountains are bursting with fresh clean life. After the monochrome months of winter, every vernal vista seems filled with splashes of color.

Congratulations to one of our hardest working Sugarbush Parks crew members, Rich Picarelli, aka Richie Pockets, for his recent promotion. He is the new Parks manager and is already getting stuff ready for next winter. Sweet!

The weekend weather looks pretty good. The river is still cold, but the golf course is cranking, the trails are flowing and there is a good chance for bright fun-shine. See you soon!
