Snow Show - Sugarbush Stoke Exchange

Thursday, February 6, 2014

The glowing sunrise and new soft snow were very sweet this morning. This latest round of accumulation pushed open several new trails, many for the first time this season.

By several, we mean 29 new trails, including Castlerock, which is open for hike access from 10AM-2PM on Friday. Yes, finally.

We expect a busy weekend at the mountain, with great events at both Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen. Saturday features the JR Castlerock Challenge, part of the Ski The East Freeride Tour.

Many of our rising stars will be competing for spot in the main Castlerock event on March 8th. Use Hi/Lo Rd and Troll Rd for good spectating spots.

Sunday is the VT Senior Games GS Race. Come check out just how much faster than you your elders are.

Speaking of faster, the Porsche Winter Driving Experience is rallying on Crackerjack through Sunday. The Green Mountain Express will provide some of the best vantages.
