Sometimes you have to see it to believe it. Yesterday, I wandered out of the Mad River Valley for the first time in a few weeks and it didn't take long to realize that we've had it pretty good this season. While we receive regular deposits of machine-made and mother-made snow, much of the rest of the US has been a lot less wintery.
Last Friday at Sugarbush. Home sweet home.
If you haven't heard already, our next scheduled installment is on the way. A Winter Storm Warning has been posted for tonight and tomorrow. We are expecting ...
5-7 inches through tomorrow, with a chance of mixed precip in the middle. There is more snow in the forecast through the weekend and into next week too. Did I mention that it is dumping right now?

Thanks for noticing. Vermont Sports bestowed Black Diamond Awards of Excellence on Sugarbush for Best Central VT Ski/Ride Area, John Egan for Best Male Athlete and MA Raymond for Best Ski Instructor!

Remember Jamuary is Learn to Ski and Ride Month. Share the joy!
Some video from the last week.
The flakes keep falling, and the mountain is likely to be 100% open again this weekend. We've even got a base building in the woods. The snow bank continues to produce decent to excellent returns. Come cash in some dividends. We hope to see you soon.
