After much planning and preparation, the Green Mountain Stage Race returns to the Mad River and Champlain Valleys this Labor Day holiday weekend! The Stage Race is one of the premier US road bike competitions, drawing pro and amateur riders from all over the world.
The four stages; the Warren Store Time Trial, the Bridges Circuit Race, the Champion System Mad River Road Race, and the Dealer.com Queen City Criterium highlight the beauty of the region and our often challenging roads. The Mad River Road Race is particularly tough, featuring an ascent up the Appalachian Gap from the west and finishing at the top. The Time Trial and Circuit Race have great spectator spots along the courses, and the downtown Burlington Criterium is a speedy urban loop with multiple sharp corners and ripping straight-aways.
Near the top of the Ap Gap and the finish of the Mad River Road Race.
Sugarbush is excited to host the start of the Mad River Road Race at Lincoln Peak this year. Come check it out on Sunday morning! The organizers are still looking for volunteers too, click here for more information.
Family fun at Sugarbush. Hi Jantzens!
Despite the incredible weather forecast, Labor Day weekend is always bittersweet. Saying goodbye to summer is hard, but the beauty of fall is so inspiring. As we bid adieu, we hope you soaked up enough summer bounty to keep warm all winter. Speaking of the fairest season, remember to get your passes now! Prices go up September 12th.

Heli-Ski MRV? No, just the GMC rebuilding Glen Ellen Lodge.

Not bad for a dry summer. Chanterelles, lobsters and puffballs. Tasty!
