After a hot weekend, late spring delivered some absolutely perfect days this week, with bright sunshine, low humidity and comfortable temps. The fields, forests and mountains seemed to glow with clean freshness, you just couldn't help smiling.
Even without the great weather, reasons for grinning were quite ample.
Cutting the grand opening chain at Blueberry Lake on Saturday.
Summer isn't even here yet and the Valley is already buzzing with sunny fun. Next up is a huge weekend of bikes and beers.
Working on the Sugarbush downhill trails. Get your MTB Quad Pack tickets before they go away!
The BrewGrass Festival and the Eastern States Cup Super D/DH are June 15-16. Tickets are going fast for the fest and there are cash purses for the races. Get your gravity on, then soothe your sore muscles with a huge selection of great beer. Even if you don't win the race, this is a win-win situation.
Sugarbush Golf Club early season rates are still in effect, only $50 including cart!
The golf course is in great shape and this is likely the last week for this extra special price. Be sure to get in a few rounds before the price starts to climb into peak season.
A little family fun at Blueberry Lake.
The Rice Brook development is going up fast. Nice location.
Green Mountain Opera Fest is here!
The Opera Fest is in residence at Sugarbush for the next two weeks, with lots of opportunities to hear and learn from these incredible voices. Aria going to join us?
The Mad River Valley's natural beauty is also ramping up to peak season, with a literal jungle erupting around us. The stark contrast from winter's austerity to summer's abundance is always awe-inspiring.
Revolution trail bridge inspection. Done!
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday looks partly damp, but Sunday is supposed to be another perfect day. Better be here!
